    Jill--Elmwood Park, IL:

"The trip to New Orleans during Mardi Gras is a turning point in my life. For so long, I have been caught up in how much I do for God. I have been a Martha, working so hard and worried so much. During this trip, I learned to listen to God's voice, obey and wait. It's not about trying to reach a hundred people although that would have been nice. It's about knowing God and obeying him. It's about letting Him direct your paths and leading you every step of the way. In doing so, you have His heart, His eyes and His ears."

    Loretta--Littlestown, PA:

"I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful peace you gave to my mother and what a blessing you have been to her.  You came to our church here in Littlestown, PA., the Gates of Praise Worship Center under Pastor Garrett in December.  It was getting near the holiday time and that is always a hard time for my mom, since she has buried three of her children and lost her husband of over forty years.  The message you gave her was beautiful and left her with glorious peace. She was able to celebrate Christmas without crying and she has not done that for along time.

" I also went on the internet and found this web site; as I explored the site I found the page with your picture along with your wife.  I printed the picture and gave it to my mom she has since framed it and proudly displays it in her home and tells any one who asks what a godly and wonderful man you are.  She is now counting the days until you return to our church here in Littlestown.  Again, thank you ever so much and may God continue to bless you. ."

    Jamey--Columbus, GA:

"WOW! Where do I begin. Pastor Greg has been coming to our church in Columbus,Ga for several months now and the power of God is strongly evident in the meetings. Personally, our marriage has been healed! Pastor Greg spoke into our lives things only the Spirit of God could reveal to him that has caused transformation in both our lives.

"More amazingly, my wife was diagnosed with a blood clot (DVT) that ran the entire length of her leg from the groin to her ankle on Feb 14th 2005. Doctors told us she would never gain full mobility in her leg again, would have to be on coumadin therapy the rest of her life, and the clot would take years to dissolve. We went to the alter for prayer and the healing power of God touched her when Pastor Greg prayed for her. Afterwards, we went to the doctor and the clot was totally gone and he took her off of coumadin. What a miracle! I sit here as I write this and have to take a deep breath as I recall the flood of emotion when the doctor uttered the words, "the clot is gone and you can come off therapy." Also, she was diagnosed with a clotting disorder (Lupus Anticoagulant) in the hospital and the labwork she had drawn after the healing prayer came back negative. How great is our God!

"I also have to mention the salvation of many souls, families that are being restored, deliverances from drugs and alcohol, other healings, and the brokenness and humility taking place in all of us.

"Thank you Pastor Greg for your obedience, your sacrifice, your humbleness, your sensitivity to the Spirit and your love for God that is evident in the way you show love to our city.

    "God Bless EM!!"

    Chris-- Huntsville, AL:

"The first time I really came into contact with Expectation Ministries was during the ramp up to Mardi Gras Invasion 2005. As I went the the weekly preperation meetings I realized I was with a group of people who love to pray, worship and live the great comission out. I'd never been on the streets like that before, and had witnessed only to close friends that I felt would be receptive. As Mardi Gras approached, the team focused on prayer, and allowing God to reign in our lives so that we might be tools used by Him. I specifically remember one night Heather Collins praying for me to have holy boldness out on the streets.

"To make a very long story short............God showed up in my life in such a powerful way on the streets that I was hooked forever.

"I immediately came back and started doing door to door ministry on Saturday mornings with The Rock. I just had to go to the Portland Expedition. There God continued to do a work in me. Its amazing that as you start walking out His command to go into the world that He shows up and empowers your efforts.

"As I've gotten to know the team better. I've learned a few things along the way. The first is to yield to the Holy Spirit at every moment(still working on this one) of every day. Love God passionately and be in fellowship with Him. These first two things will cause you to love and reach out to other people.

"I've learned that a fasted lifestyle is key, and that obedience to God produces great things for the kingdom. Also I've learned by watching Greg, Gretchen and the EM team that servanthood is a beautiful thing.

"I want to thank all of you for serving God wholeheartedly. Thanks for being a blessing to me and my family! We love you guys!!!"

    Mary-- Huntsville, AL:

"All I can do these days is lift my hands to Jesus and say "Thank You"!! My life has not always been like that, though. I am a recovering addict (not just drug addiction but others as well). I have lived on the streets and I have seen the devil many times. I tried to commit suicide several times because I just did not want to live. I searched for love in every outlet imaginable. I was a lost sheep in the wilderness, blinded by the enemy.

"Two years ago I rededicated my life, but I still slid back into the devil’s palm. My life was like a roller coaster that kept going up and down and never stopped. About a year and a half ago, I met a wonderful lady of God who became my mentor. It was so weird to have someone who loved me and did not know me. Even when she found out everything about me she still loved me. God was shining through her clear as day, and that’s what I wanted.

"So once again, I decided to give this "church" thing a try. My mentor took me out to the country to Expectation Ministries to attend Life at EM. Greg’s preaching was unbelievable and so full of God. He seemed to know exactly what I was going through. So much so, that every time I went to Life at EM, I made sure that I was not thinking anything bad because I just knew that Greg would know (ha-ha). God was so in EM that at times it took my breath away. A couple months after I started EM I got prayed for by Greg and some of the staff.

"Now I am closer to God than I have ever been. I truly know in my heart that God does exist. I would not be here today if God did not exist. I can now freely worship in church and not be scared. I am learning to completely trust in God and I have so much more to learn. But see that is OK, because I know I have nothing to loose and eternal happiness to gain. Now I want to live and I am so hungry for everything I can learn about my precious Savior. I have far to go, but I have come so far in a year.

"I have been off the streets and free from drugs for nearly year! In June, I will graduate from Virginia College as a certified Medical Assistant. I now have a future. I don’t worry about tomorrow, and learning to live in today. I still battle, like I always have, with the enemy—the difference is that now I know that it is the enemy.

"I have searched my whole life for a place to just belong, to feel safe and accepted. I finally found it--- it is in God’s Family that I belong!!

    "God Bless!"
