Heather Collins
After graduating with a degree in social work from the University of North Alabama, Heather completed the staff training program with Outreach Ministries of North Alabama. OMA is a residential discipleship program for people with life controlling problems. She spent the next 3 years as a staff member in the ladies home. While at OMA that she was peripherally introduced to Greg DeVries.
Heather then worked as a medical social worker in various settings including a pediatric office, hospice, home health and a rural hospital. Following the leading of the Lord, she landed in Arkansas for a season that sent her into nursing school. In November of 2001 Heather returned to the Huntsville area, after reconnecting with Greg at a conference in Kansas City, and joined the team alongside Greg, Gretchen and Expectation Ministries. She continues her "tent making" as an RN at a local hospital and currently heads up the intercession aspect of EM and is Greg's administrative assistant.
