Expedition Portland 2007--What a great outreach! We had six hours of live worship at Poineer Courthouse Square on Saturday. The atmosphere was much more reverent than in past years. This is the first year that there were no people hanging around in front of the stage as a distraction and many people sat and soaked in God's presence. On Monday evening we provided a sit-down dinner in the park. The uncoditional love that was shown by our team was a beautiful thing to see. Again this year, we provided free manicures, pedicures and haircuts. We had a fruitful trip!

Expedition Portland 2006 was awesome. We were able to touch and love on many of the seemingly unloved homeless teens living on the streets of Portland. It was beautiful to see loving hearts in action, loving on and caring for these kids on the streets. The 2006 Team was much larger than the 2005 Team, mostly due to teen volunteers from the Youth Group at The Rock Family Worship Center - Huntsville, AL. We were able to minister through practical outreaches, like praise and worship all day Saturday in the Square, where we gave away baloons, snowcones, cotton candy, and water! We were also able to minister again through free manicures, pedicures, and professional hair cuts. What an opportunity to sit down and take time to share the Love of Christ with the hurting and confused individuals who have either abandoned normal society or have been abandoned by society itself. Thanks to all our Friends with Expectation for your support, both financially and prayfully.
