- Realize the present truth of the Great Commission: make disciples and teach them to preach the Gospel to every living creature.
Expectation Ministries (EM) was founded in January 1998 by Greg and Gretchen DeVries. It was born from deep "expectations" that God planted in their hearts about His plans for this generation and the generations to come.
From 2000 until the early part of 2004, Greg and Gretchen pastored Faith Christian Fellowship, in Huntsville, AL. God used this time to strengthen Greg and Gretchen's character, and to further build within them the vision and goals of Expection Ministries. During this season, God strengthened a relationship already formed between Greg and Gretchen and Rusty and Leisa Nelson, Pastors of The Rock Family Worship Center, in Huntsville, AL. In alliance with, and under the covering of The Rock, Greg and Gretchen were able to release their Pastoral responsibilities, and pursue their full-time calling to prophetic evangilism through EM.
EM is here to serve the Body of Christ. The following list demonstrates ways EM has impacted various ministries across the world: Big GIG Youth Conferences, Youth Pastor Conferences, Inner City Outreach, "Possessing the Gates", School of Prophetic Evangelism, and numerous summer outreaches and discipleship programs. EM is committed to helping the local Church reach and attain her God-given "expectations" and to fulfill Her "yearning expectation" for the revealing of the sons of God.

To see the Spirit of God moving in the streets of our cities, towns and villages around the world through trained and equipped believers in Jesus Christ.
